All the Lobster You Can Eat

The price: $2,995.

For that price, you get your very own lobster trap for the season and all of the crustaceans that you catch (guaranteed minimum: 40), courtesy of Ready Seafoods. The price includes shipping, as well as other accoutrements, including mussels, clams, Maine-made gourmet desserts, bibs, cooking instructions, and gift cards, as you catch a piece of Maine.

Very interesting concept, although that's one expensive lobster. Even if you get the 50 lobsters they expect, that still about $60 a pop. It truly is about the experience!!

Hmmm, it is expensive but I wonder if they would ship the lobsters abroad... the going price for lobster over in Sweden appears to be over $55/lbs (~SEK800 per kg).

Yowsahs! $55/lb in Sweden, that's steep! I'm thinking you also assume I live in Sweden...nope! Boston, born and raised. I work with a lot of Swedes and always hear about the rotten fish! And caviar in a tube :)

OFG, nope, I knew that you are in Boston. I just mentioned that as I saw some prices for seafood during my trip to Sweden last week. Man, that place is really expensive!
