Corporate Advertising in Your Food

First, CBS announced they will be laser-etching ads for their fall lineup on eggs. Now, Ford will be promoting their Fusion model in boxes of Kellogg's cereal.

What's next? Microsoft Office-themed Happy Meals? Or perhaps, diamond-shaped, Viagra-branded Doritoes torilla chips - made of blue corn, of course.

It's a good thing I have a Geflügelhof (AKA place to get farm fresh, unadorned eggs) just down the road so as to avoid unnecessary TV ads... One more thing to mark in the 'pros' category of Life in Deutschland!

Of course, you have to get to the Geflügelhof before they close at 8pm. I like the fact that I can pick up eggs at the local megamart 24 x 7. Chalk one up in the 'pros' category of Life in the U.S. of A. :)
